For those who are wondering, North Sand represents North Sand Lake in Northwestern Wisconsin. It is by far my favorite place to be. My Grandparents love for North Sand lake began in 1945. They, along with my parents eventually bought property and spent several months of each year enjoying the beauty of it's landscapes and nature.
Because of them I continue to experience the mystery and wonder of Wisconsin's north woods.
To me, North Sand lake has always been a magical place where days are long and time is lost. Sitting on the dock at sunrise as the lake comes alive are moments in time that will stay with me forever. Many of these photographs were taken on or around North Sand Lake as well as the city of Madison and throughout Wisconsin.
